It is 5:02 p.m. when the communiqué in which the Promotion League club Stade Nyonnais reacts to what happened in the Valais in the afternoon is published. First, Dionisio BLICK gives an interview, in which he claims to have been approved by Nyon sports director Warujan Simonow to sign in Sion. Then the 37-year-old Portuguese is introduced as the new trainer in Martigny by Christian Constantin, saying: «I offered the managers in charge to pay them six of the eighteen outstanding monthly salaries, which is more than reasonable. You didn’t want to. That’s why Ricardo has now canceled his contract. Why all of this is no longer my problem. I won’t get involved anymore. »Afterwards Dionisio leads his first training as a Sion coach.

Nyon denies claims
But all of this leaves Nyon in charge. You write in the above-mentioned communiqué: «The board of directors was very surprised to hear what Dionisio said in an interview with the daily newspaper BLICK, which was taken over by the Walliser newspaper ‹Nouvelliste›. In it, Mr. Dionisio says that he received the approval from Director General Simonow, whereupon he signed the contract as a Sion trainer. »
–
And further: The board of Nyon categorically deny both this claim and that of Christian Constantin at the official idea that Mr. Dionisio had canceled his contract! «Mr. Dionisio is still tied to FC Stade Nyonnais as a professional coach with a contract until June 30, 2021. Without the possibility of an early termination. Incidentally, no cancellation has been received by FC Stade Nyonnais. »In plain language: Nyon says that both Dionisio and CC would be lying!

Dionisio is expected at Nyon on January 20th
The continuation of the communiqué: Mr. Dionisio was unfortunately unhappy in this matter. He is expected to resume training on January 20 at the Center sportif in Colovray.
–
And that there is now war between the two clubs is confirmed by the closing sentences: «FC Stade Nyonnais will exercise its rights before the judiciary. With all the means at his disposal. »

Watch boss braves CC
Oops, someone is defying CC. And it’s not just anyone, it’s Vartan Sirmakes, President of Nyon and Stade-Lausanne-Ouchy. The Armenian is CEO of the noble watch company Franck Muller, which he founded together with watchmaker Muller in 1991. His assets are estimated at CHF 350 to 400 million from the “balance sheet”. For comparison: Sion boss Christian Constantin is in the list of the 300 richest Swiss with “only” 250 to 300 million …

We are looking forward to the sequel.
