The 22-year-old central defender comes to the Elbe from the regional league Rot-Weiss Oberhausen, the club announced on Monday. Last season, the defender played 29 games in the Regionalliga West, in which he scored three goals. Stappmann, who was born in Krefeld, played for MSV Duisburg and Bayer Leverkusen in his youth.
