Soccer – Krefeld – Uerdingen: The next two games can take place – sport

Frankfurt / Main (dpa) – The next two third division games of the financially troubled KFC Uerdingen can “definitely” take place. The preliminary insolvency administrator Claus-Peter Kruth announced this in a club announcement on Saturday. “Efforts and talks for the following period continue.”

Uerdingen will play against SV Wehen Wiesbaden next Monday. On February 28, the first home game against MSV Duisburg will be held in Lotte, as it was said. The club needed a new home ground because, due to the renovation of the Grotenburg Stadium, it does not have its own game and training facility. The Krefeld Club recently introduced a new investor. After the departure of President Mikhail Ponomarew, the Noah Company from Armenia takes over the shares.

The Krefeld district court had installed a preliminary insolvency administrator at Uerdingen, as a public announcement by the court at the beginning of February revealed. On January 21, the club announced that it had initiated self-administration proceedings.
