Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – SC Freiburg starts today (3:30 p.m. / Sky) with the game at Arminia Bielefeld in the new Bundesliga season. In East Westphalia, SC coach Christian Streich only has to do without Nils Petersen. The striker is still in training after a meniscus operation. One week after the 1-0 win in the DFB Cup at third division Würzburger Kickers, the Freiburg team are hoping for another sense of achievement. However, the statistics speak for Bielefeld: Arminia won all four previous Bundesliga home games against the sports club.
