Freiburg (AP) – Forward Michael Gregoritsch is in danger of failing in SC Freiburg’s match against Hertha BSC. The Austrian national team player was due to fall on Thursday evening after 20 minutes of the Europa League match against FC Nantes (2-0) due to injury.

“There was a blow at the start of the match,” explained Patrick Baier, who replaced ailing coach Christian Streich on the sidelines. “Then it lasted a few more minutes, but after an unfortunate movement he pulled his leg in. But there is still no precise definition of whether it is a bruise or a major muscle problem.”

Should Gregoritsch fail for the Bundesliga match, Freiburg would have to change after five matches with exactly the same eleven starters on Sunday (17:30 / DAZN) in the capital. Veteran Nils Petersen came on for Gregoritsch against Nantes.
