Soccer – Freiburg im Breisgau – Freiburg wins Test against Sandhausen – Sport

Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – Bundesliga club SC Freiburg won a non-public test match against second division club SV Sandhausen on Thursday with 2-1 (1-0). The goals for the Breisgauer were scored by Baptiste Santamaria (43rd minute) and Luca Itter (73rd). Kevin Behrens (47th) met for Sandhausen to compensate for the interim.

The Freiburg team were missing seven national players. In addition, Nils Petersen, Christian Günter, Nicolas Höfler and Manuel Gulde were spared for reasons of stress control, so that mainly players were used who had not played so often recently. Defender Lukas Kübler had to be replaced after half an hour. After the international break, Freiburg will face the bottom of the league Mainz 05 (November 22nd).
