Frankfurt / Main (AP) – Bundesliga soccer club Eintracht Frankfurt wants to continue the upward trend from before the international break. Today, however, the team of head coach Oliver Glasner is challenged at the top club and third place in the table, SC Freiburg. The Hessians have to do without striker Goncalo Paciencia and wing player Christopher Lenz, but again rely on a joker from captain Sebastian Rode. In the 2-1 win in Fürth, Rode scored a goal as a substitute. With a win, Eintracht could increase their cushion on the relegation zone and gain momentum for the Europa League game against Antwerp on Thursday.
