The European Cup is also difficult to achieve for the tenth of the table in the Bundesliga after the recent 2-1 defeat in Mönchengladbach. So what is it about coach Christian Streich’s team before the away game at Arminia Bielefeld on Friday (8.30 p.m. / DAZN)? At least financially a lot.

We really want to play a good season, and there is one or the other point.”
Therefore, it annoys the 55-year-old that three of his best offensive players are missing for the game at the newly promoted team. Lucas Höler and Ermedin Demirovic (both fifth yellow card) are suspended, Vincenzo Grifo is still in quarantine due to a corona infection. “We have to tinker with it,” said Streich.
The failures offer a chance for striker Nils Petersen, who was substituted on after his corona infection in Gladbach. According to Streich, the 32-year-old has “no abnormalities, it looks good” after the illness.
