Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – Captain Christian Günter does not rule out looking for a new challenge in the future after many years at SC Freiburg. At the moment, a change of club is not an issue, said the EM participant of the German press agency. But the 28-year-old said: “It may well be that at some point I think I need to take another step.” Günter joined the Breisgau team as a youth in 2006, and has since become the club’s record player in the Bundesliga. Even after his football career, being involved in another role at the sports club is an option for him, said Günter.
