Freiburg (dpa / lni) – VfB Oldenburg suffered their third consecutive defeat in the 3rd football league. At third-placed SC Freiburg II, the promoted side lost 0-1 (0-0) on Sunday. The Oldenburgers are now three points from the relegation zone.
Striker Vincent Vermeij converted a justified penalty for Breisgau in the 64th minute. Previously, VfB midfielder Kamer Krasniqi fouled Hungarian Roland Sallai in the Oldenburg penalty area.
