Soccer – Frankfurt am Main – SV Sandhausen starts against Bielefeld: KSC in Paderborn – Sport

Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lsw) – The Baden-Württemberg second division football teams are starting the new season with difficult tasks. The SV Sandhausen welcomes the start on the weekend of 16./17. July the Bundesliga relegated Arminia Bielefeld. Karlsruher SC and 1. FC Heidenheim have to play away from home first. This was the result of the game plan being published by the German Football League (DFL) on Friday. KSC plays at SC Paderborn, Heidenheim travels to FC Hansa Rostock. The DFL will only announce the exact times at a later date.

On the second matchday (July 22nd to 24th), Karlsruhe will host newly promoted 1. FC Magdeburg, before going on the third matchday (5th to 7th August) to SpVgg Greuther Fürth, who have been relegated from the first division. The first state duel of the first half of the season will take place on the fourth day of the game (12th to 14th August) when Karlsruher Sandhausen are expecting. The Southwest classic from newly promoted 1. FC Kaiserslautern against KSC rises in the first half of the season on matchday 16 in mid-November.

Heidenheim receives newly promoted Eintracht Braunschweig on the second day of the game and then plays at Hamburger SV. Sandhausen’s first away game is against SV Darmstadt 98, followed by a home game against Fortuna Düsseldorf.

Due to the World Cup in Qatar (November 21 to December 18), the 2nd Bundesliga will be taking a longer winter break from mid-November. At the end of January (January 27th to 29th), the game continues with the first round of the second half of the season. The season ends on May 28th.
