Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) – The soccer women from Eintracht Frankfurt have lost the dress rehearsal for the cup final against VfL Wolfsburg. A week before the final of the DFB Cup, the Hessians were defeated by the German champions on Sunday in the Bundesliga 2: 3 (0: 2). Fridolina Rolfö in the 2nd minute, Ewa Pajor (31st) and Tanja Pawollek (57th) scored an own goal for Wolfsburg. The goals of Lara Prasnikar (48th) and Laura Freilang (58th) were not enough for Eintracht to win the point, which was still possible in the final minute. Substitute Alexandra Johannsdottir (90th) only hit the bar. With 30 points, the Frankfurt women continue to occupy sixth place in the table.
