Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) – Eintracht Frankfurt could not shine in the test match against 1. FC Nürnberg without a few national players like goalkeeper Kevin Trapp. Coach Oliver Glasner’s Bundesliga team drew 1-1 (1-0) against the second division side on Thursday. Gonçalo Paciência gave the hosts a 1-0 lead (10th minute). Pascal Köpke equalized in a confused final phase (79th).

Defender Christopher Lenz had to leave before the break due to a calf injury. The longer injured attacker Ragnar Ache made his comeback. The next Bundesliga game for the Europa League quarter-finalists is on April 2 against bottom Greuther Fürth.
