Frankfurt / Main (AP) – The sports court of the German Football Association (DFB) is negotiating the appeal of the regional league team SC Preußen Münster against the valuation of the DFB Cup game against VfL Wolfsburg. VfL coach Mark van Bommel replaced a total of six players in the first round game on August 8th. This is not allowed in DFB Cup matches with extra time. The Bundesliga team and Champions League participant from Wolfsburg won 3-1 after extra time. The Lower Saxony is now threatened with the subsequent withdrawal of the victory.
