VALENCIA. Antonio Conte, Tottenham Hotspur coach, will remain in Italy for a few days, along with his family, after undergoing a check-up after the gallbladder operation he underwent two weeks ago.
The Italian has directed Tottenham’s last two duels, against Leicester City and Milan, but now, after passing a check-up in Italy, he will stay in this country for a few days to spend time with his family.
“Health is the most important thing and everyone wishes him the best,” Tottenham said in a statement.
Cristian Stellini, Conte’s second, will lead the team these days.
