The “wettbasis” portal has analyzed how often the Bundesliga soccer teams have to deal with negative comments on Instagram. We show where VfB Stuttgart is in the ranking of the 18 clubs.

Social media are an integral part of today’s world, and Bundesliga clubs can no longer imagine life without them. In addition to all the advantages that platforms such as Instagram and Twitter bring to the clubs, social media are also a frequent point of contact for negative comments and insults. Especially in a phase in which things are going badly for a club, it happens again and again that fans vent their frustration under the postings of the clubs.
The portal “wettbasis“ has analyzed how often Bundesliga clubs are insulted in their own comments, or how high the proportion of swear words is. According to their own statements, five to twelve Instagram postings by the teams from the current season were examined. The word that came up the most was “bad,” followed by “embarrassing.”
