Second friendly match and first victory for the Briochins (National) who beat Niort (Ligue 2), this Wednesday morning, thanks to a goal scored by Blondel at the very end of the match (2 – 1).
“It’s nice! Jordan Blondel had the smile of one who was decisive. Served by Aboubakari at the end of regulation time, the midfielder arrived from Granville this summer came to deceive the young Leclerc closely (89th). And he therefore offered the victory to his family against a resident of Ligue 2, which is not trivial when is promoted to the level below.
“We produced a game”
Despite “heavy legs”, his new team has still “produced the game” after its narrow defeat against Stade Brestois on Saturday (0-1). Before his eyes, she began by leveling off in the first half. After Niortais Louiserre found the crossbar (15th) and Pattier won his face-to-face with Ba Ibnou (22nd), Vargas-Rios and Dutournier were not far from scoring (38th).
This was finally the case after returning from the locker room following a magnificent cross from Le Méhauté for Vargas-Rios who immediately crossed for Mbock (1-0, 53rd). The Briochins then conceded the equalizer by Lebeau, served in the middle by Doukansy (1-1, 61st), but they folded without breaking in the wake when N’Diaye won his duel with Autchanga (62nd).
We know the rest. After a big strike from twenty-five meters (71st), Blondel offered success to his new colors (89th). “The second half, despite the goals, was more disjointed but the guys’ intentions are there, underlines Maxime D’Ornano, the Griffons coach. We still have to progress in the conservation of the ball but it’s good. Our team block was higher ”.
The next match will take place on Saturday against Vannes OC (N2), in a location that remains to be determined, the city of Loudéac having finally preferred not to host this opposition. Maxime D’Ornano hopes to still align Benjamin Angoua, the former Guingampais, again very convincing. “He has experience and serenity,” praises the Briochin coach.
