A frustrating defeat for Seraing
After having stood up to Anderlecht (3-3, 3 tab to 4) last Tuesday in the Belgian Cup, RFC Seraing once again raised doubts about a Belgian league leader. A few days before his trip to the Parc des Princes in the Champions League (this Tuesday), FC Bruges had to fight hard to overcome a tough Seresian formation.
Led 2-0 after half an hour of play, the Steelworkers have never given up. The “Messin” Ablie Jallow thus reduced the score (2-1, 42nd) before Bruges drives the point home by Sandra (3-1, 44th)… But the satellite club FC Metz reacted again and Dario Del Fabro, on free kick, kept his team afloat (3-2, 45th + 1).
Unfortunately, the score will not move despite the good intentions displayed by the partners of Youssef Maziz in the second half.
Seraing is 15th in the Pro League after this 17th day of the championship with 19 points (6 wins, 1 draw, 10 losses). Next meeting for the men of Jordi Condom, this Saturday December 11 at the Pairay stadium (8:45 p.m.) for a reunion with Anderlecht (4th).
