Many New Yorkers don’t have a yard to plant a garden, or even a sunny balcony for a garden at home, but we can all access a green corner without going to the field.
There are the community gardenswhich are spaces where people gather to grow various products. These venues are often on city land and can be located on vacant or abandoned lots, making better use of space and beautifying neighborhoods.
