So Timmy Trumpet & Co. celebrated despite Corona

Last weekend the biggest EDM festival to date took place in 2021: The Lunar Electric Music Festival in Australia. There 8,000 people celebrated to the sounds of Timmy Trumpet, Will Sparks, Joel Fletcher and many others – in the midst of a pandemic. But the continent has the corona virus under control.

Australia has the coronavirus under control

The seven-day incidence in Australia is 0.3 on March 20, 2021 and there are hardly any new infections. This is mainly due to the clearly communicating political leadership, which sometimes forced entire cities into lockdowns as soon as a new chain of infection was detected. The burden on the burgers was enormous, but also the success: the virus is gone.

Of course, the island’s location on the continent also helped. But geography isn’t the only explanation. The immigrant nation values the importance of common rules, precisely because of their ethnic diversity. Everyone always sees a responsibility for the bigger picture with themselves. And that’s exactly why events like the Lunar Electric Music Festival can take place there again.
