On the occasion of the 14th Ligue 1 day Uber Eats, under the leadership of Mohamed Bouhafsi, with the sponsorship of Adrien Taquet, Secretary of State for Children and Families, and in partnership with the CNAPE, the Professional Football League and professional clubs unite in favor of child protection.
On the occasion of the international day of the rights of the child on November 20, the LFP, the clubs of Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT are committed alongside the CNAPE to raise awareness among the greatest number and remind the fundamental rights of children: the right to be cared for, protected from disease, d’have a sufficient and balanced diet, the right togo to school, the right tobe protected from violence and of all forms of discrimination, the right of to play and D’have leisure, the right toto have a family, d’to be surrounded and loved.
Through this dedicated day, it is about showing them that we are all committed to supporting them and supporting them in their life journey. This mobilization also aims to remind everyone of the call number 119 – Hello Childhood in Danger, confidential and free call 24/7 – number to dial when you are a child in danger or when you think that a child around you is in danger. Spreading the word about this number is essential in helping children and can quite simply save their lives.
This day also makes it possible to promote the energy and the daily investment of the CNAPE, the federation of child protection associations spread over the entire territory, and locally of the Backup 51 in the Marne. To do this, children from each local association have redesigned the coats of arms of the clubs in their town. The SDR will also display this revisited logo on all its networks until Monday.
240 children, accompanied by 50 educators, will travel to Paris for a weekend to experience a exceptional experience : spectator of the rugby match France – New Zealand on Saturday evening, and participant of the football tournament on Sunday. Many activities are planned and stars as professional players will be there to encourage the children.
In Reims, 12 children – 6 girls and 6 boys aged 8 to 14 – were selected by the Backup 51 to take part.
