What a fundraising marathon!
For the 26th time Wolfram Kons invited to the RTL donation marathon to collect money for children in need – and with success! Numerous celebrities, companies and viewers have donated what they can and are proud of them 22.448.676 Euro conjured up on the donation clock. A new record amount to help children in need around the world. How speechless Wolfram Kons is when he sees the final score is shown in the video.

From the fight against child poverty to the construction of an eye clinic in Tororo to an exercise center for children with cancer – for the 26th RTL donation marathon prominent sponsors in various projects committed to collecting donations vigorously. Of course, this time too, the exceptional athlete Joey Kelly could not be missing. And Joey wouldn’t be Joey if he hadn’t set a new world record! After the 49-year-old and his supporters had already set the world record for “the largest amount of energy generated on the cross trainer (24 hours, team)” last year, there is now the next world record. Joey lasted 24 hours, together with all participants: Burned 200,000 calories inside and thereby charged the Einhell battery at the same time. So stands the World record for “most calories burned in the device-quadrathlon (24 hours, team)”as the REKORD-INSTITUT für DEUTSCHLAND (RID) confirms. Instead of the required 200,000 calories, Joey and his supporters have fabulous 276.822 Calories burned. In addition to the world record, there is also 1.267.000 Euros on top!

RTL Germany bears all costs for personnel, production and administration that arise in connection with the “RTL Foundation – We Help Children eV”. The “RTL Foundation – We Help Children eV” can guarantee that every cent of the donations goes to the children’s aid projects without any deductions.
