It was a first half which saw the visitors materialize their superiority in the standings and display great domination for 38 minutes. Millau will have suffered and watched the greens play ball for more than half an hour. However, the end of the half will be entirely for the locals who in less than 5 minutes will revive and get back on track. This was not enough in the end because Les Angles came to assert himself and left with the victory having only doubted for a few minutes.

Millau, unrecognizable against a team sure of its game, will finally give itself hope before half-time. A new penalty from Delagne then a strong try from Mezair will bring the locals within reach of the Gardois 13-21.
The stoppages in play will completely put the locals back on track. A new Millavoise attack, following a penalty, will allow Nyungue to score in the corner and bring Millau to within 3 points of the visitors at half-time
The locals came back from hell in 4 minutes against visitors who could regret a few points dropped at the foot.

A deceptive end to the half
Invigorated by this euphoric period, the Millavois almost managed the perfect start to the 2nd half by crossing the score line. The referee does not grant the try and Les Angles remains ahead. Another match begins because victory now seems possible.
Millau camps in the opposing camp but fails to score, no points will be scored during the first 20 minutes of the 2nd act, the train has passed for the locals and they did not know how to take it?
The Millavois’ last stand gradually faded and the visitors became realistic by attempting penalties and thus gaining a 12-point margin 10 minutes from time.
