So many hard drives in a house? – Tech guide

SilverStone has expanded its offerings to include Mini-ITX / Mini-DTX and microATX motherboards, which I can imagine primarily for a home-built NAS, or even a file server / workstation. The new slot with 4 slots is called CS351. Its main feature is that it has five key-lockable quick-change hard disk racks on the front, into which you can load 2.5 / 3.5-inch storage devices with SATA or SAS interface.

Inside the enclosure, which has ample ventilation slots on the sides, we can install 82 mm high processor coolers as well as video cards up to 368 mm long and standard ATX power supplies. But there are two other 3.5 and eight 2.5-inch (one 5-9.5 mm and seven 15 mm thick) data storage compartments inside.

It maintains its temperature with two 80 mm fans at the top and three 40 mm fans at the rear. In addition, an 80 mm piece is already placed on the production line behind the racks. Meanwhile, in the row of front panel terminals you will find a USB Type-C connector, two USB 3.0 ports and a 3.5 mm combo jack. Although no price has been announced, we have somehow found it in the offer of the Australian Scorptec, so we can get it for about 66,000 forints in Hungarian currency.
