So far 28 Amstelveners have been hospitalized at COVID-19

Amstelveen – A total of 28 residents of Amstelveen have been hospitalized to date due to a COVID-19 infection.

RIVM reports this (Tuesday, March 31, 2 p.m.) that as of today the interactive corona card has changed to the number of patients admitted per municipality, instead of the number of positive tests per municipality as before.

Since Amstelveen has approximately 92,000 inhabitants, that translates to 28 people. In Uithoorn the average is also at 30.5, in Aalsmeer a lot lower: 15.7.

Across the Netherlands, 4712 patients have so far been admitted and a total of 12,595 Dutch people have been tested positive. To the best of RIVM’s knowledge, 1039 people in the Netherlands have since died of the virus.

The GGD Amsterdam reported yesterday evening the number of positive tests so far in Amstelveen: that was 86 in total.
