Foreign media reported that the woman who exposed her breasts in public facilities could be jailed.
In the 2022 Qatar World Cup final against France played at the Lusail Stadium in Lusail, Qatar on the 19th, Argentina drew 3-3 after a bloody 120-minute battle and won 4-2 in a kick-off rigor that followed.
When Argentina confirmed their World Cup title, an Argentine soccer fan was caught on camera as if she couldn’t control her glee, as she took off her shirt. Of course, it was in front of the Argentine crowd who were overjoyed and were caught cheering shirtless.
In response, Britain’s Daily Mail reported that the woman who exposed her upper body could go to jail due to the Qatar government’s strict dress code.
Before the opening of the World Cup, the Qatar Tourism Board announced to visitors, “We hope that men and women respect the local culture of Qatar by avoiding excessively exposed clothing in public places.”
In particular, the Qatari authorities have banned the exposure of the chest and shoulders to women who have visited the World Cup and have recommended that they wear skirts or trousers that cover the lower body up to the knees.
In other words, an “accident” occurred at the end of the competition in which the upper body was completely exposed beyond the excessive exposure of the costume. However, there are no media reports so far that the woman has been arrested by the authorities.
