Princess Mako of Japan has married Kei Komuro who comes from a non-aristocratic family. Therefore, he had to give up his status and become a commoner. After getting married, they reportedly decided to leave Japan. Where will they live?
Having been delayed due to various reasons, Putri Mako finally married Kei Kumoro after dating for eight years. Unfortunately due to Japan’s strict employment rules, he couldn’t stay in the palace. It was reported the woman was moving to the US and living in a one-bedroom apartment.

According to the Daily Mail, Princess Mako and her husband plan to live in New York where Kei works as an attorney at the law firm Lowenstein Sandler LLP in New Jersey. Princess Mako, who refuses money for marrying an ordinary person, is said to be looking for work there.
Leaving the Akasaka palace in Tokyo, Princess Mako is reportedly planning to rent an apartment in New York. Although not a palace, of course the apartment inhabited by this newlywed couple is not cheap. Located in an elite area, the rent can reach hundreds of millions for a month.

Princess Mako herself should be able to receive 150 million Yen or around Rp. 19.5 billion as a royal princess. Kyodo News sources in the government said the billions of allowances were paid from people’s taxes.
However, Princess Mako chose to refuse the billions of allowances in order to be with the man who had been her lover for a long time. He followed in the footsteps of his aunt Princess Sayako, by marrying a man from a non-aristocratic circle.
