SNS closed all ATMs after the fifth robbery in four weeks last weekend, the bank reports Monday. It was about forty ATMs after the bank closed all more than 200 ATMs in HEMA branches in May.

A spokesperson says he does not know why the ATMs of this bank have recently been targeted. SNS customers can still use the ATMs of other banks and Geldmaat to withdraw money.
In the summer, SNS already decided not to switch on the ATMs in the HEMA branches at all.
