Until 10 am on Thursday the National Weather Service (NWS) maintains an alert for a winter storm in the five boroughs of NYC and New Jersey, and the situation could repeat itself on Sunday the 14th and a good part of next week, according to the latest forecasts.
At the moment, there is the possibility of a new snowfall on Valentine’s Day morning; and again on Tuesday. The situation could repeat itself even on Wednesday and Thursday of next week, according to Accuweather.
After the morning snow, a maximum temperature of 35F (2C) in the day and a minimum of 19F (-7C) at night is expected for today, with a lower thermal sensation. The thermometer will go even lower tomorrow Friday and Saturday, when they estimate highs of 28F (-2) and lows of 18F (-8C), both days and nights.
