There is traffic chaos in the snowstorm on the E22 between Hörby and Kristianstad in Skåne in the south of Sweden. Traffic has been at a standstill throughout the day and a monster queue has built up.
Worst hit is the stretch between Ekerödsrasten and Hörby. Motorists have been stuck there since this morning.
According to The Express up to 1000 images can be stuck in the queue.

– It’s an awful lot. It is an estimate from our colleagues on the basis that there may be significantly more than we first thought, says Evelina Olsson, police spokesperson to the newspaper.
A little before eight o’clock this evening, the police reported that over 300 cars were still stuck. Just before ten o’clock, the police spokesperson reports that there may be even more.
– There can be up to 1,000 vehicles.
Even police cars have been stuck for several hours. The police, emergency services, Hörby municipality and the Swedish Defense Forces have now started to evacuate motorists.
