(ANSA) – MILAN, 07 NOV – SnowitPass is born, the most flexible ‘pay per use’ ski pass ever, because it offers the freedom to ski by paying only for the time actually spent on the slopes in over 40 ski resorts in Northern Italy and with a threshold regional in Lombardy and seasonal in some areas. It is the latest innovation in the ski sector created by Snowit, the digital platform that is innovating winter sports and mountain tourism. No more division between daily and multi-day ski passes, therefore, nor seasonal purchases in advance, but a single pass that allows direct access to the facilities of over 40 ski resorts, paying only for the time spent on the slopes, according to the price list provided by the resort. Furthermore, in Bormio, Livigno, Pontedilegno-Tonale and Santa Caterina Valfurva, once the seasonal price threshold is reached, subsequent skiing is free. SnowitPass therefore presents itself as an evolution of the seasonal ski pass that is paid on a case-by-case basis, only for the time actually spent on skis. Furthermore, thanks to the collaboration with Anef Lombardia – Association of Lombardy cableway companies – it is possible to ski in all the resorts in the region and, when the seasonal threshold worth 1,140 euros is reached, subsequent skiing in all the resorts in Lombardy will be free. Furthermore, to reach the Lombardy regional threshold with SnowitPass, all the days of skiing accumulated in the various Lombardy locations are added into a single count. This innovative approach, which is inspired by the most cutting-edge European models, aims to transform the skiing experience into an offer tailored to user needs with the aim of extending this virtuous model to other Italian regions. “Our mission is to go beyond a consolidated and successful product – explains Pasquale Scopelliti, CEO of Snowit and co-founder together with Riccardo Maggioni -. This model will improve the users’ skiing experience, more modern and flexible, and will also allow local operators to innovate their tourism system”. The SnowitPass subscription costs 15 euros per season but only 1 euro for users who pay with Visa, thanks to the collaboration between Snowit and the Visa payment card circuit, using the visasnowit discount code.
