Snowfall: Dates and Locations Affected by the Massive Winter Storm in the United States

The United States National Weather Service (NWS) issues a new alert for the arrival of a massive winter storm in the American Union.

“A major prolonged winter storm will spread a large swath of heavy snow from the west coast to the northeast, today through Friday. There is a lot of confidence that this winter storm will be extremely disruptive to travel, infrastructure, livestock, and recreation in affected areas”, warned the NWS via social networks.

Massive winter storm in the United States: Dates and places affected by snowfall

As reported by the National Weather Service, some regions of the country have already begun to experience light snowfall, which will intensify and continue until Friday, February 24. Winter weather is expected stretches from Arizona and Nevada to Minnesota on Wednesday, February 22.

So far, they are 18 states that are under alert, from California to Michigan; where are they expected low temperatures, snowfall, strong winds, ice fall and blizzards.

As the storm moves west, Accumulation of up to 5 feet of snow is expected.
