Snowboarding expectant Lee Chae-woon (15, Bongdam) reached the top at the International Ski Federation (FIS) Cup Halfpipe Competition.
Chaewoon Lee scored 85.75 points at the FIS Cup Halfpipe Competition held in Park City, Utah, USA on the 29th, winning the gold medal.
Lee Chae-woon won the 2019 World Snowboard Federation (WSF) World Rookie Tour Half Pipe and Big Air, and is expected to attract attention as the future of the Korean Snowboard Half Pipe.
The FIS Cup is a lower grade than the World Cup and Continental Cup among the FIS-sponsored competitions, but Lee Chae-woon surpassed the rising stars of the United States at the top of the competition, revealing the prospect of the Korean snowboard freestyle sector.
Lee Dong-heon (15, Maehwa Middle School), who participated together, ranked 8th with 53.75 points. The two players will also participate in the slope style on the 30th and challenge the prize.
