A snowboarder found himself covered with more than 1m80 of snow in the Mount Baker ski resort, in the United States. It was a skier who rescued him, in extremis. The snowboarder got trapped in a snow hole. This is a meteorological phenomenon which often happens in the mountains and which is a real danger for amateur off-piste skiers. The snowboarder escapes unscathed despite some minor injuries.
