The municipalities of the Consorcio das Mariñas they will have a common service for the disinfection of the busiest roads. Snow plows and salt dispensers will be used to clean the roads with a type of disinfectant.
The Consortium has negotiated this measure with the Government Sub-delegation. The work routes will be similar to those used by the county entity for garbage collection in the municipalities of Abegondo, Bergondo, Betanzos, Cambre, Culleredo, Oleiros and Sada. The Consortium assumes the costs of this disinfection.

The Government Subdelegation in A Coruña is distributing almost 10,000 protective masks to various social and charitable entities in the province of Coruña, “within the framework of the strategy of bringing these elements closer to essential groups that has been developed since last Monday throughout Galicia” , informs.
With these distributions, the Government Subdelegation wants to promote “the culture of self-protection among workers and collaborators who are in contact with a part of the citizens of the province.”
“And, above all, to facilitate the safe development of their essential tasks, also contributing to decrease the possibility of contagion of COVID-19 among workers and their beneficiaries“, Add.
From the day of this Thursday and throughout this Friday, personnel of the Government Sub-delegation and members of the State Security Forces are distributing batches of hygienic masks to institutions such as the Food Banks of Santiago and A Coruña, Aspronaga, Aspace, the Coruñesa Federation of the Deaf or the Home of Sor Eusebia, among others.
