8h30 : buses run with difficulties in the country under Vosges. There are many disturbances around Rougemont le Château: a bus is at the stop between Romagny sous Rougemont and Saint Germain le Châtelet because of falling trees. The village of Riervescemont is inaccessible.

8:20 am: be careful if you have to travel to Alsace. In addition to the safety advice for driving on the A36, be aware that the Haut-Rhin is very affected with heavy snowfall which makes traffic very difficult on the entire road network and the TER network at a standstill.

7:50 am: tree fall in the sub-Vosges region

Tree falls are reported on the road between Romagny-sous-Rougemont and Saint-Germain in the Territoire de Belfort. Consequently, the bus lines 21 and 22 of the Optymo network no longer run in this sector.

7.45 am: first difficulties on the road in Beaucourt and Giromagny

Traffic is disrupted on the Optymo network: on line 26 of the suburban network, a bus was blocked around 7:30 am in the town of Beaucourt. At the foot of the Ballon d’Alsace, “school transport is not insured and very uncertain on the Giromagny side”, tells us a listener.

7:40 am: APRR calls on motorists to be careful

It is snowing on the A36 motorway between Mulhouse and Montbéliard. APRR recommends that motorists be careful. Météo France announced -1 to 0 degrees this Friday morning in Belfort, 1 degree in Montbéliard, -1 in Rougemont-le-Château, 1 degree in Audincourt and 2 in Lure.

7.20 am: 80 agents mobilized in Belfort all night

The city of Belfort mobilized 80 agents during the night from Thursday to Friday, 19 heavy vehicles with blades and spreaders, and 10 small mechanical machines to clear snow from the roads. The main axes have been cleared, as have the bus lanes, but with the onset of colder temperatures, slippery phenomena can occur, especially in sloping places, such as Avenue de la Laurencie. Be careful in your travels.

7.15 am: flooded roads in the Territoire de Belfort

Diversions have been put in place because of flooded roads in the Territoire de Belfort, this is the case between Charmois and Froidefontaine, and between Fontenelle and Petit Croix.

7:10 am: still some power cuts in Beaucourt

260 customers remain without electricity in Beaucourt in the Territoire de Belfort. Enedis technicians are mobilized. They will look for the causes of the breakdown: fallen trees on power lines or too much snow. Power should be restored in the morning.

In Alsace, more than 12,000 homes remain without electricity this Friday morning.

7:05 am: electricity has returned to the sub-Vosges region

The light returned on Thursday evening in the sub-Vosges region. About a hundred Enedis customers had been deprived of power in the Petitefontaine and Leval sector, on the border with the Haut-Rhin.

7am: up to 15 cm of snow expected locally

Snowfall will continue over the North Franche-Comté this Friday morning, then slowly shift south. The quantities announced for this new episode by Météo France range from 10 to 15 cm from the Alsace plain to the outskirts of Belfort. Locally, this value of 15 cm may even be exceeded.
