Snow covers the country after the hurricane…

Atmospheric pressure will rise today and will be close to the average for the month. During the night the rain temporarily stopped and over most of the country the clouds broke, but from the south-west it will start to increase and thicken again.

In Eastern Bulgaria, the southwest wind will be oriented from the west-northwest. The minimum temperatures will be between 0° and 5°, in Sofia minus 1°-0°.

AT Saturday the cloudiness over the country will be significant and in some places in the southwestern half there will be precipitation, mainly from rain; in most areas weak, only in the extreme southern areas will be moderate to strong.

In the eastern half of the country, the wind will again be oriented from the south-southeast and will increase to 15 m/s. The maximum temperatures will be within wide limits from 4-6° in the northwestern regions to 14-16° in places in Eastern Bulgaria; in Sofia – about 9°.

Above the mountains it will be mostly cloudy, on the ridges and foggy. Light snow will fall in places, rain below 1000 m. A strong, gusty and temporarily stormy wind will blow from the south-southwest. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters is about 3°, at 2000 meters – about minus 4°.

Cloudiness will be significant over the Black Sea, but precipitation is not expected. A strong south-southeast wind will blow. Maximum temperatures: 11°-14°. The temperature of the sea water is 9°-10°. The excitement of the sea will be 2-3 points.

A yellow code for dangerous weather has been announced for seven regions of the country for Saturday, according to a reference on the NIMH website.

The strong wind warning is in effect for Kardzhali, Haskovo, Yambol, Veliko Tarnovo, Targovishte, Razgrad and Shumen.

AT Sunday cloudy weather will prevail, in places, mainly in Eastern Bulgaria with rain. The wind will weaken, temporarily and die down. The minimum temperatures will be from minus 2° in the western regions to around 10° in the eastern regions, and the maximum – mostly between 7° and 12°. On Monday it will be cloudy, with light rain showers in isolated places. Temperatures will still be above normal. Cold air will begin to move in later in the day with light to moderate winds from the east-northeast. In the evening from the southwest, precipitation will intensify, the probability of being significant in quantity increases. It will remain cloudy with rain in the coming days. The wind will remain from the northeast and with it the cooling will continue.

In Tuesday in Northern Bulgaria and the high fields in Western Bulgaria, the rain will change to snow, and in Wednesday everywhere the precipitation will be from snow, only in the southeastern regions and the Upper Thracian plain will continue to rain. The minimum temperatures will be between minus 3° and 2°, and the maximum – between minus 1° and 4°. On Thursday and Friday, the wind will turn from the north, then from the northwest, it will be weak. Cloudiness will be mostly significant, light snow will fall in some places. The minimum temperatures will be a degree or two lower, and the daytime temperatures will be almost unchanged.
