In the morning, light snow will fall across most of Northern Bulgaria. In the rest of the country, precipitation will be rainy, in the southeastern regions – significant amounts, reported the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH). Barometric pressure will drop slightly, but will remain above the month’s average, reports NOVA.
A moderate wind will blow, in eastern Bulgaria, temporarily strong from the northeast. The minimum temperatures will mostly be between minus 1° and 4°, and the maximum between 3° and 8°. In Sofia the minimum temperature will be around 2° and the maximum around 7°.

A code orange for significant rainfall has been announced in 4 municipalities of the Burgas region.
A yellow code for continuous rain and snow has been issued in 11 areas. The alert code is in force for the regions of Dobrich, Varna, Shumen, Targovishte, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Sliven, Yambol, Haskovo, Kardjali and Smolyan.
Along the Black Sea it will be cloudy, windy and rainy. On the south coast the quantities will be significant. A moderate and temporarily strong northeast wind will blow. The maximum temperatures will be 11°-13°. The sea water temperature is 13°-14°. Sea excitement will be 3 – 4 points.
Above the mountains it will be cloudy and with snowfall, below about 1200 meters – with rain. Over the course of the day, as temperatures rise along the old passes, conditions will be created for the formation of ice. Moderate to strong winds will blow from the east, in the high and exposed parts – from the southeast. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be about 4°, at 2000 meters – about minus 2°.
Wednesday and Thursday will be cloudy, with precipitation, mostly rain, in multiple locations in southern Bulgaria, where there is also a higher probability of significant amounts. The wind will remain from the northeast, in most of the country it will be weak, in the eastern regions – moderate and strong. The minimum temperatures will mostly be between 1° and 6°, and the maximum between 3° and 8°, along the Black Sea up to 10°-12°.
