Snow and hail fell in Hurghada on the first day of 2022

In addition to rain and snow, the resort was hit by hail, the size of a pigeon’s egg. Bad weather made it difficult to move on the streets of the city due to the puddles and melted snow.

Social network users posted a video with snow-covered streets of the resort, palm trees and lawns.

As noted in the meteorological office of Egypt, the province of the Red Sea was at the mercy of the atmospheric front, which caused heavy torrential rains that occurred in most cities in the region.
