The game was available to pre-order through the Epic Games Store but was taken offline just before release. Players who already pre-ordered the game got their money back. It is not clear why the game is suddenly not on the Epic Games Store.
On VGC Rebellion said: “Due to circumstances beyond our control, Sniper Elite 5 will not be available through the Epic Store upon release. The game will be released later on that platform. We apologize for the inconvenience.” PC players can download the game from Steam and the Windows Store.
Sniper Elite 5 was released last Thursday on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and PC. The game is also available for download via Xbox Game Pass. It is not yet known when the game will be available via the Epic Games Store.
