Rebellion has announced via Twitter that the release date of Sniper Elite 5 will occur next May 26. It will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one, receiving versions for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC.
Sniper Elite 5 is set in France, in 1944, and players will have to take part in an American military operation off the coast of Brittany. It introduces a secret Nazi project called Operation Kraken that threatens to end World War II with the defeat of the Allies.

Rebellion Promises Advanced Weapon Physics and Scrollingdeep customization, an improved death cam, and a variety of multiplayer modes including an “invasion” option where players can secretly enter other users’ games and hunt them down.
Sniper Elite 5 was announced in 2019 alongside three other Sniper Elite titles, but will be the first all-new main installment in over five years. Rebellion hasn’t shown much of the game so far, but has released a gameplay trailer, a cinematic trailer, and now its release date reveal trailer:
