Jakarta –
Qualcomm new will show off Snapdragon 875 in an event in December. A month before the announcement, the Snapdragon 875 benchmark score at AnTuTu was leaked first.
This score leak was revealed by a Twitter user named Abhishek Yadav. Quoted detikINET from Gizmochina, Monday (11/2/2020), the Snapdragon 875 recorded a score of 847,868 points.
From the image uploaded by the tipter, you can also see Snapdragon 875 using the code name ‘lahaina’.
If this leak is accurate, then this latest generation chipset from Qualcomm will bring a considerable improvement in terms of performance compared to its predecessor, the Snapdragon 865. Currently, the Snapdragon 865 cellphone with the highest AnTuTu score is the iQOO 5 Pro with a score of 663,752.
As known, Snapdragon 875 built using a 5nm fabrication that promises greater performance with more energy efficiency than the Snapdragon 865 which follows 7nm fabrication technology.
With this score, the Snapdragon 875 is also getting further away from its competitors who both use 5nm technology. In comparison, the Apple A14 Bionic in the iPhone 12 Pro scored 572,133.
Meanwhile, the Kirin 9000 used by the Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a score of 721,462. Meanwhile the Exynos 1080, which is a mid-range chipset, scored 693,000.
If this leak is true, then Snapdragon 875 will be the strongest mobile chipset in the AnTuTu ranking in the next year. We’ll wait for more information when Qualcomm launches Snapdragon 875 in early December.
