Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset will power Nothing Phone (2) – ANTARA News

Jakarta (ANTARA) – An executive from the technology company Qualcomm accidentally leaked that one of its products, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, will become the runway for the latest Nothing cellphone, namely the Nothing Phone (2).

The news comes from Alex Katouzian’s posts by SVP and GM of Mobile, Compute, and XR Qualcomm on his LinkedIn. Although the post has been edited, he previously posted congratulatory messages for the founder of Nothing Carl Pei, as published on the Gizchina website, Tuesday.

“Congratulations Carl Pei and the Nothing Team on the release of Nothing Phone (2) with #Snapdragon 8+ Gen1. We look forward to more product collaborations,” said Katouzian.

It wasn’t long before Katouzian, who seemed to be aware of indirectly leaking the specifications of the cellphone, changed the upload. Katouzian changed the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 description to the Snapdragon 8 series SoC.

It is undeniable that the Nothing Phone (2) is one of the smart phone products that gadget fans are waiting for in 2023. In a different report from 91 Mobiles, the success of the first generation Nothing Phone was so memorable.

It is recorded that Nothing Phone (1) has been marketed for more than 650 thousand units worldwide. Nothing Phone (2) is planned for release in Q3 2023.
