Snapchat starts from Monday with its own feed in the style of TikTok. That reports Company Monday. Spotlight is not yet available in the Netherlands.
Everyone can submit their ‘best Snaps’ to Spotlight, which will then be shown in the feed, Snapchat writes. Ultimately, this feed will adapt to the user.
Users with the most popular Snaps of the day can claim a daily pot of $ 1 million (about 840,000 euros). It does not matter whether they are an influencer or have many followers.
The company wants to invest in more quality content for the platform. Spotlight will be a fifth tab in the Snapchat app.
Spotlight is currently available in eleven countries, including the United States and Germany. It is not yet clear when the new feed will also be available in the Netherlands.
