From the beginning, Snapchat has given people the opportunity to express themselves through their camera. We didn’t want to develop a social network in which you are automatically friends with everyone you know or only see what is particularly popular at the moment. Instead, we wanted to make it easier for people, publishers, and brands to tell their stories – in their own way!
Snapchat stands for private conversations, not for sharing. Snaps are made for quick and easy communication, which is why they can go away! Friends only see the things you send them directly, or you choose to post publicly on your story.
