Snapchat announces new activations for the festival season. Starting with a “Coachella Story” with curated content in the Discover tab, location-based filters for users on festival sites, and themed “Spotlight” challenges where Snapchatters can win prizes by sharing videos. Objective: encourage user-generated content (UGC) and connect and provide an opportunity for brands to engage a young and dynamic audience, and strengthen their visibility and image.
