Snapchat is testing subscription features

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Snapchat, one of the social networks used by the global community, is known to be piloting a subscription service to its users, which will later be known as “Snapchat+”.

The advantage of this premium service is that it gives customers access to exclusive features and pre-release features.

Quoting Reuters on Friday, the trial of the premium service was revealed by a spokesman for Snap, which is the parent company of Snapchat.

The first reports of paid features for Snapchat were actually revealed by Alessandro Paluzzi’s @Alex193a tweet on Twitter.

Alessandro Paluzzi is known as an application developer and software engineer who quite often provides leaks of the latest technology and applications.

Snapchat+ is likely to incur a subscription fee of 4.59 euros per month or around IDR 70,000.

Later there will also be an annual subscription fee of 45.99 euros or the equivalent of IDR 720,000.

For Snapchat, this feature is the first subscription product on the app and allows users to do more exploration to create content.

Besides Snapchat, recently another social network, Telegram, has also announced premium products after previously operating completely for free.

It is not yet known whether the Snapchat+ premium service will be present in Indonesia or not.
