Snapchat goes desktop: At “web.snapchat.com” users can log in with a user name and password and continue their chats where they left off on their smartphone.
The smartphone is not enough: Snapchat is now also oriented towards notebooks and desktop PCs. A web version (Snapchat for Web) of the photo and short video messenger should also enable use on devices with larger screen diagonals, as the company announces.
At “web.snapchat.com” users can log in with a user name and password and continue their chats where they left off on their smartphone. But only if you have a paid Snapchat Plus subscription.
Also, at launch, the web version is only available in Australia, the UK, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States. Germany, France and some other countries should follow “soon”.
