am 17 years old and male. Almost everyone at my new school has Snapchat, which is why I got it. I’ve already added many there, but now I don’t know how to proceed. I understand the basic principle of Snapchat, but I don’t know how to act with the people now.
For example, a girl in my class just sent me a selfie snap and I don’t know what to do now. Should I answer it now, not react to it or send a snap as well? If the latter were true, I don’t know what snap to do either. Somehow I don’t want to take a selfie (that generally seems strange to me as a boy, I don’t know what other guys send for Snap …).
And I also don’t know to whom I should now regularly send Snaps and who not (and here would be the same problem again that I don’t know what kind of Snaps to send). And I’m not familiar with this creative aspect either (i.e. what stickers should be used, which filters are currently “in”, etc.). But also what you are chatting about, which abbreviations are “in” and what the general “youth rhetoric” is would be of burning interest to me.
So it would definitely be nice if you could brush up a bit on Snapchat. So don’t stop at the functions, but rather how you behave and so …
