Starting October 1, the income limit for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) increased, with the goal that more people can benefit.
For example, previously, a family of four could not receive the assistance bonus if they earned more than $3,007 dollars per month, however, now that limit is raised to $3,250 dollars.

According to the United States Department of Agriculture, income thresholds are higher for those who earn less or have an elderly or disabled person in their household, in addition to other benefits. Click here to know more details.
